Magod Falls
This is a group of waterfalls in Karnataka, India, where the river Bedti falls from a height of nearly 200m in two steps. The falls are located about 17 km from the town of Yellapur, in the district of Uttara Kannada and are easily accessible from several lakes and towns.The place is remote with a magnificent view of the falls.
You will find a large lake on the way to Magod Falls known as Kavade Kere which has an area of 60 acres. It is an ideal picnic spot with a beautiful view. The fall flows down into a rocky path from the height of 650 feet. Magod Falls is a cascade situated in Karnataka. It is 80 kms from Karwar and 17 kms from the town of Yellapur. It is effectively open by rail and street from the towns.
